All beats are sold with a non-exclusive license. When a non-exclusive beat is bought, it will remain on the website and can still be bought by others. The next question and answer will explain how the same beat can be bought by multiple people.

If two different people buy the same beat, they can still each copyright their own song they make with that beat, and sell, distribute, perform and broadcast that song, keeping all their own royalties.

When you purchase a beat for, the copyright for that beat alone still belongs to JBZ Beats. However, the copyright for the song that you make with that beat (your lyrics combined with that beat) belongs to you. And with the rights granted to you by the icense agreement, you are allowed to sell, distribute, perform and broadcast (TV, radio, Internet) that song, keeping all of the royalties.

If your song becomes a hit, and you are interesting in having us take it off our site, contact us to negotiate a deal.

Tracked out means you will receive the building blocks of the beat in multiple 16 bit, 44.1kHz WAV files. This option opens the doors to mixing and editing the beat any way you want to. Most tracked out beats are completely separated even down to the individual drum tracks. If you have questions about how a specific beat is tracked out, email us!

Yes, you can chop, loop, speed up, slow down, add new sounds, and change the beat in anyway that suits you as long as you still give credit to JBZ Beats.

In any project where any part of a JBZ Beat is used make sure you give credit in one of the following ways:

“Produced by |Producer|”
“Beat by |Producer|”
“Original music by |Producer|”

Otherwise, research and ask around about local recording studios.
